Powerbets Kenya is an online betting site owned by Copyright Oysterbay Lotto Limited. The Powerbets Kenyan platform is built around their mobile phone site rather than a classic desktop version. The bookmaker is licensed and regulated by the Betting Control and Licensing Board (BCLB) under License number 698.

Promotions

The Powerbets Kenya mobi-site offers a couple of offers to both new and existing customers, although some of them are outdated. Luckily for us, the registration bonus is still available for new customers, so we will be looking to focus on this one in the following paragraph.

100% First Deposit Bonus Up to KES 100

Join Powerbets Kenya, make a first deposit of exact KES 100 and you will be awarded an additional KES 100 in bonus voucher.

The voucher winnings can be withdrawn after placing a bet. You can check the Validity Status and Period of your voucher account anytime by going to 'Voucher', under 'Personal Center'.

Powerbets reserves the right to amend, cancel, reclaim or refuse any promotion at its own discretion.

Site design

There is no doubt that Powerbets Kenya is designed and heavily optimised for mobile users. You can access the website from both mobile devices or computer/laptops, but while visiting the website on a desktop it will force you to use the mobile version anyway. All the important links and markets can be accessed through the top left-hand side menu.

The Live Betting section can be accessed via the menu button and it has to be said that the In-play betting is massive at Powerbets Kenya.

The mobi-site also offers Virtual Play, with a decent range of sports and betting markets available.

Cashier options

Unfortunately, the only payment method available at Powerbets Kenya is through MPesa platform:

Go to M-Pesa Menu on your mobile phone
Select Lipa na M-Pesa
Select Pay Bill
Enter 298222 as the Powerbet pay bill Number
Enter POWERBETS as Account Number
Enter amount (No Commas), e.g. 1000
Enter your M-Pesa PIN and send
You will receive an SMS confirming the transaction

Conclusion

Powerbets Kenya is a unique betting site due to its design and functionality, but the platform needs some improvements. They do have competitive odds and a good welcome bonus, but the lack of 24/7 customer support and some broken links and pages on the website are definitely a huge disadvantage.
